This poster from Tozaro (formerly MIP Discovery) demonstrates how Flow Induced Dispersion Analysis (FIDA) was used to screen molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) reagents as affinity tools for quantifying viral vectors, using the HIV gp120 protein as a model target. FIDA measured the increase in hydrodynamic radius on binding to rank candidate reagents, selecting a lead with sub-nanomolar affinity (KD 0.11 nM) that was then built into lateral-flow and electrochemical sensors. It is an example of using FIDA to screen and rank synthetic affinity reagents for viral-vector quantification.
