FIDA A novel technique for determination of Protein biding on Extracellular Vesicles
Anna Kristin Ludwig, Maria Anthi Kakavoulia, Peter Spies, Herbert Kaltner
This poster from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich demonstrates how Flow Induced Dispersion Analysis (FIDA) was used to characterise the binding of human soluble lectins (galectins) and antibodies to extracellular vesicles (EVs) from mesenchymal stem cells and blood serum. FIDA determined protein and EV size, labelling efficiency and the EC50 of antibody binding to serum EVs, with antibodies reaching full labelling. It is an example of using FIDA to quantify protein binding and characterise particles on extracellular vesicles.
