FIDA Readouts

From it's 3 simultaneous measurements FIDA delivers over 10 in-solution readouts which allow for studying interactions in context of sample integrity, in-depth sample characterization, and embedded assay QC.

Molecular Size

Absolute measurement of hydrodynamic radius in solution: revealing conformation, structural integrity, and complex formation, and serving as the foundation for all binding affinity and kinetics readouts.

Binding Kinetics

Measures association (kon and dissociation (koff) rates fully in solution. Without surface-related artifacts like non-specific binding, ligand orientation bias, and surface heterogeneity.

Binding Affinity

Absolute measurement of hydrodynamic radius in solution: reveals conformation, structural integrity, and complex formation, and serving as the foundation for all binding affinity and kinetics readouts.

Aggregation

Detects and quantifies aggregates as individual spike events, enabling sensitive monitoring of sample stability: applicable to protein aggregates, amyloid fibrils, and liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) condensates.

Sample Viscosity

Measures the viscosity of small sample volumes directly in solution: critical for formulation development of high-concentration biologics, and delivered automatically alongside any FIDA measurement as a simultaneous characterization readout.

Quantification

Accurately measures active molecule concentration directly in solution: valuable for bioprocessing, expression monitoring, and ensuring the right amount reaches your assay.

Polidyspersity Index

Flags sample heterogeneity and resolves distinct species with individual size measurements  obtained simultaneously with every run as a built-in characterization readout.

PDB Correlator

A useful feature that allows to cross-check your sample against its PDB code and AlphaFold. Delivered for every sample studied.

Stickiness

Measures non-specific adsorption of your molecule to surfaces. It is reported simultaneously alongside other readouts as an automatic QC on sample behaviour.

Sample Loss

Identifies and quantifies material lost to adsorption on surfaces or equipment before it reaches your experiment.

Labelling Quality

Verifies that fluorescent labels are correctly attached and functional, ensuring assay signal reflects true molecular behaviour.
