This poster from Durham University demonstrates how Flow Induced Dispersion Analysis (FIDA), on a Fida Neo instrument, was used to determine the binding affinity of pseudouridine synthase (PUS) enzymes to their tRNA substrates. FIDA quantified PUS–tRNA binding in solution, complementing cryo-EM structures and primer-extension assays that revealed position-specific substrate recognition. It is an example of using FIDA to characterise protein–RNA binding affinity for enzyme–substrate recognition studies.
