The Protein Binder Printer: Fully Automated Closed-Loop AI-Driven Protein Binder Design

Diego Ruiz Espi; G. Avelar Molina; A. Ljungars A. Hald;, E. Rivera de Torre; T.P. Jenkins

This poster from the Technical University of Denmark and Novo Nordisk demonstrates a fully automated, closed-loop AI-driven pipeline for designing protein binders, with Flow Induced Dispersion Analysis (FIDA) used to validate the binding of the computationally designed candidates in solution. FIDA confirmed high-affinity binders — for example an anti-ubiquitin binder with picomolar target affinity — closing the design-build-test loop. It is an example of using FIDA to validate binding affinity of de novo, AI-designed protein binders.
