Each FIDA measurement delivers three simultaneous readouts - hydrodynamic radius (size), a binding related intensity change(BRIC), and spectral shift (lambda dynamics). Together, they allow you to track size changes, complex formation, binding specificity, and sample integrity in real time.
From those readouts, FIDA extracts up to 10 unique parameters: absolute molecular size, on-rate, off-rate, complex stability, aggregation state, labeling quality, sample loss, quantification, and more. So instead of running multiple assays to answer separate questions, you capture the answers in a single, cohesive picture.
And because FIDA works directly in complex samples - serum, cell media, fermentation broth - you don’t waste time prepping, purifying, or adapting your sample to the instrument. You work with what you have, as it is.
